Rehab That Goes Beyond Pain Relief Focused on strength, confidence, prevention, and long-term return to activity.

Charis Pafitis is an HCPC-registered Senior Physiotherapist specialising in musculoskeletal (MSK) rehabilitation across both NHS and private settings.

He holds a First-Class degree in Physiotherapy and has completed over 40 postgraduate courses, including advanced training in hip, shoulder, and vestibular rehabilitation with leading clinicians such as Alison Grimaldi, Jo Gibson, and Alan Sealy.

He currently works as a Senior MSK Physiotherapist within the NHS, delivering care through an assess-and-treat approach, enabling efficient diagnosis, early intervention, and personalised rehabilitation planning.

His clinical work spans a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions, including ACL and meniscal injuries, tendinopathies (such as GTPS, tennis and golfer’s elbow, rotator cuff-related pain, and Achilles tendinopathy), osteoarthritis of the hip, knee, and shoulder, as well as spinal conditions affecting the lumbar, thoracic, and cervical regions.

He has extensive experience in post-operative rehabilitation, including ACL reconstruction (ACLR), meniscal repair, and joint replacements such as total hip (THR), knee (TKR), and shoulder (TSR), supporting patients through each stage of recovery back to function and activity.

Charis has a particular interest in structured rehabilitation planning, combining evidence-based care with a clear, personalised approach to help individuals reduce pain, rebuild strength, and return to meaningful activity.

His approach emphasises preventative care through exercise and physical activity, promoting long-term strength, resilience, and reduced risk of recurrence.

Alongside physiotherapy, he is trained in advanced sports massage and manual lymphatic drainage, supporting recovery, performance, and post-operative care.

A lifelong athlete, Charis brings a deep understanding of movement to his practice — from gymnastics and judo to strength training, Pilates, yoga, and meditation — shaping both his clinical reasoning and rehabilitation approach.

He works with individuals aged 16 to 60+, from those recovering from injury to those aiming to improve strength, balance, and long-term resilience.

Charis is also the co-founder of PhysioEverywhere, a platform built to deliver accessible, evidence-based physiotherapy anywhere.

For Charis, physiotherapy is not just treatment — it is about restoring movement, confidence, and quality of life.
